Homes and buildings made from shipping containers
Conway designs and builds structures from shipping containers: living modules, offices, cafés, pools and one-off projects. Design, insulation, finishing and utilities are all handled in one place.
What we build
- Container homes - insulated 20 and 40 ft High Cube modules with a bathroom, ready to live in.
- Office containers - site offices, security posts or temporary offices; modules can be joined.
- Commercial spaces - pop-up bars, cafés, shops and event venues.
- Container pools - 6, 9 or 12 m plug n' play pools with no construction work.
- Custom projects - two or more containers combined into a gym, shop or restaurant.
Living modules and commercial spaces are built from new High Cube shipping containers, pools from new one-trip containers. The modules are insulated and fitted with electrics, lighting, windows and doors, while the layout and finish follow the client's needs. We deliver and set up finished buildings across Lithuania and the other Baltic states.
Why build with shipping containers
- fast assembly in any season;
- light foundations and building in hard-to-reach places;
- mobility - a module can be moved to a new site;
- standard sizes allow two- or three-storey structures.
The building principles are described under Building with containers.
How a project runs
- Idea: what the building is for, how many people will use it and where it will stand.
- Design: concept, technical plan and cost estimate.
- Build: we make the modules, deliver them and set them up on site.
Permits
Whether you need a permit depends on what the container is used for, its size and where it stands, and the rules are set by the local municipality (savivaldybė). Before placing a container for a longer period, ask your municipality's administration. It is best to do this before you order.
