Used 40ft High Cube Pallet Wide shipping container: dimensions and weight
The 40ft (12 m) container has twice the space of a 20ft one, so it is chosen for larger loads, business storage and modular buildings. A High Cube container is about 30 cm taller than a standard one (2.9 m outside), so it suits tall cargo, shelved storage or a living module. The Pallet Wide version is wider inside, so euro pallets stand in it more tightly. Used containers are graded CW (cargo worthy) or WWT (wind & water tight), so they keep out wind and water. A CW container with a valid CSC plate can also carry cargo.
